Another very useful contact if you are researching a Copsey family tree is Peter Copsey, copsey at pacific dot net dot sg. Peter who is not a relation, specialises in the Copsey surname irrespective of family relation. If you have the Copsey surname he wants to know about it, if he doesn't already. He was a great help with my family tree

I've come across a Thomas Copsey who was in the 54th Foot (W Norfolks) during the Indian Mutiny, and in the online 1901 census I came across four Copseys born in India:-
